Solana Founder Emphasizes Clear Utilities Importance For Crypto And Blockchain

JAKARTA - Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana (SOL), has explained the importance of "clear" use cases for crypto and blockchain in recent interviews.

In an interview with Austin Federa, founder and chief of strategy at the Solana Foundation, Yakovenko highlighted simple payments as an example of using digital assets that could benefit many people.

"I'm actually more focused on trying to do things that are clear at the moment. I think it's very important, to try to get users to do things that are already running on a large scale - and that is payment. It's very simple - let's send each other money in a cheap and fast way without having to go around the world," said Yakovenko.

According to Yakovenko, crypto assets have great potential to simplify the financial system via the internet. They also allow content creators to work without having to be tied to financial systems from larger companies.

"Crypto payments are a better experience for anyone who generates content for users. So the problem is that because dealing with finances on the web is very troublesome, this platform can gather power by creating this line for a large number of content creators... "said the founder of Solana.

They have content, they have financial relationships between creators and users, they have that path, they have that connection, and once they have it, creators don't want to leave it - it's like a kick in their income. They don't like working for themselves, they work for Twitter or TikTok or anything because all the financialization happens through these platforms," he added.

This approach emphasizes the potential of blockchains to remove barriers in transactions and collaborate in the digital era, allowing more people to control and leverage their finances in a more direct and simple way. Solana is one of the platforms trying to realize this vision.
