JAKARTA - The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the highest flagship model that has just been released in Indonesia. As the top model of the Galaxy S21 line, Samsung provides this phone with the most complete specifications compared to its two siblings.

The attraction of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the four-camera configuration on the back consisting of a 108 MP f / 1.8 (Wide) main camera sensor, then a 12 MP ultra wide lens (f / 2.2), a 10MP telephoto lens (3x zoom, f /2.4), plus a 10 MP telephoto lens (10x f / 4.9 zoom).

The main camera has a 108 MP resolution, but still relies on the non-binning technique like the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It's just that Samsung brings technological improvements to this camera by adding a final resolution of 12 MP.

Nothing has changed for the ultra wide lens, Samsung has only changed the arrangement of its telephoto cameras. Instead of just one 48 MP telephoto camera with a 4x optical zoom lens (103mm, f / 3.5) like the S20 Ultra, the Galaxy S21 Ultra divides the telephoto range into two 10 MP cameras, each with a 3x optical zoom (equiv. . 70mm, f / 2.4) and 10x (equiv. 240mm f / 4.9).

As a result, the 108 MP Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G camera has a 100x zoom capability, which has increased compared to the previous generation. This is the first time that Samsung has implemented a dual Tele-Lens on a smartphone and supports 3x and 10x optical zoom features.

From VOI's observations, the image quality of the Galaxy S21 Ultra looks sharper, considering the true focal length comes from the camera lens and not the digital zoom. Taking new pictures will feel shaking when trying out Telephofo's capabilities in the SpaceZoom feature up to 100x.

With the AI-assisted Zoom Lock feature, the camera framing keeps the image for a few seconds. Even the camera will automatically select the best shooting options, for example, Food mode for photos of food or Person for photos of someone.

Photo quality is also well preserved in low-light conditions. This is helped by the presence of the Super PD Autofocus Plus feature and Night Mode which will be useful for increasing the clarity of photos of fast-moving objects in low light situations.

The second major improvement apart from the camera sensor in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, is the Smart ISO Pro technology which simultaneously captures photo frames in high and low ISO, then combines them into one image in 12-bit color depth and with noise reduction. This sensor can capture sharper and more natural images in ultra-high resolution with faster auto focus.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra camera is capable of producing sharper and more detailed photos. However the 108 MP shooting option also makes the file size much bigger. For one photo file in 108 MP mode, the saved file size is about 28 megabytes. So the choice of lens and camera resolution that will be used should be adjusted according to your needs.

Even so, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is equipped with many features which of course can be adjusted according to your needs.
