JAKARTA - The hashtag #Eiger still adorns the trending topic of conversation among citizens on Twitter. Until finally the CEO of PT Eigerindo Multi Produk Industri, Ronny Lukito stepped in and delivered an open apology.

"On behalf of the company PT Eigerindo Multi Produk Industri (MPI), which houses the EIGER Adventure brand, we are humbly apologizing to the public for the problems that have occurred," said Ronny in his official statement, Friday, January 29.

Ronny confirmed that the objection letter sent to YouTuber with the @duniadian account was indeed sent by his company. He admitted that what his party was doing was wrong and wrong.

"In fact, our initial intention and goal was to provide input to reviewers to make it even better. But once again, we realized that our method of delivery was wrong," he continued.

With this incident, he apologized profusely to his loyal Eiger or Eigerian customers.

But unfortunately, the upload of Eiger's objection letter was viral. Many parties are absurdly disappointed and regret Eiger's actions in asking YouTuber @duniadian to remove video reviews of their products.

In fact, the video review is neither an endorsement nor a marketing promo from Eiger. So many netizens think that Eiger is inappropriate to criticize honest reviews from the eyes of consumers.

The third son of President Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep also commented. "WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GINI AMAT YES," he wrote on his @kaesangp account.

But it's not Kaesang if you don't have creative ideas. Taking advantage of this viral moment, Kaesang also uploaded an objection letter from his startup.

So far, the hashtag #Eiger is still widely discussed by netizens. In fact, referring to Article 4 letter d of the Consumer Protection Law, reviewing products is not an act that violates the law.
