JAKARTA - Rocksteady developers and WB Games publishers have announced that the launch of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be postponed until 2024.

First scheduled for May this year, this delay was made by developers after seeing feedback and reactions from players for the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League gameplay last month.

"Susicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will now launch on February 2, 2024," Rocksteady wrote in an announcement shared on Twitter, on Friday, April 14.

Rocksteady also revealed that this decision was also taken because the studio wanted to provide the best quality and gaming experience for its fans later.

"We have made difficult decisions but it is necessary to use the necessary time to make games the best quality experience for players," added the studio.

This isn't the first time games have been delayed. Originally set to launch in 2022, the game will be postponed until May 2023. When it launches in February next year, the game will be released nine years after Rocksteady's last game, Batman: Arkham Knight.

Open world shooter superhero game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is being developed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

"Thank you to our extraordinary community for your continuous support, patience, and understanding. There are many more to share in the months ahead and we are waiting for you back at the metropolitan next year," the announcement concluded.
