Crypto AI, Cryptogpt, Raup Rp148 Billion In The First Funding Round

JAKARTA The increasing popularity of artificial intelligence (AI) has apparently catapulted the name of the crypto project that focuses on AI. One of them is Cryptopt, which recently announced its success in raising funding of US$10 million (equivalent to Rp148 billion) in the Series A funding round on April 10.

Funding originating from Asia's largest market maker will be used for expansion into the Asia market more broadly. In its official Twitter account, Cryptogont informed 243,200 of his followers regarding the strategic investment of Rp148 billion he received.

"This new funding provides a valuation of 250 million US dollars (Rp 3.7 trillion) on Cryptopt, and positions the GPT both financially and strategically with the most established layer-2 development on Web3," the company added.

Cryptoppt, which is an L2 network project, uses an original token called GPT, and his team claims that GPT is a multi-valued gas token that has high demand for fuel for network transactions. According to a Bitcoin.com News report, in the last 30 days, GPT has seen an increase of 41.64 percent, with 14.79 percent of the increase recorded in the last 24 hours.

Statistical data also shows that the supply of GPT in circulation is three billion, and the ERC20 version of GPT has 3,557 holders. The top ten GPT holders control 82.95 percent of the supply in circulation. On April 10, the original Cryptogonpt token, GPT, was trading at a price of between 0.0672 US dollars (Rp99) to 0.0751 US dollars (Rp1,116) per token.

Introducing Chatbot Alex

In addition, Cryptopt has also introduced a chatbot called "Alex" in the first week of March. "Cryptophpt released the first product: Alex, the key to unlimited knowledge of the internet," the Cryptoglupt team said at the time.

"Today, we are releasing our AI chatbot, Alex - your companion in the Cryptogonpt ecosystem who can answer every question and complete a creative task." Cryptoptt also explains that Alex is "powered by the Openai model," the company behind the popular AI app, Chatgpt.

By raising Rp148 billion in funds for expansion into the Asian market, CryptoGPt is increasingly attracting attention in the crypto industry that focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology.
