JAKARTA - The boss of the Ninja Team video game development studio, Fumihiko Yasuda, has revealed that they plan to release a new game in 2023.

Through his latest interview with Famitsu, Yasuda said that currently, they are working on a game scheduled for release this year.

Not only that, the studio has also prepared to release other games in the coming year, such as the Rise of the Ronin which will be released in 2024, and the game which has not yet been announced its title which is scheduled for release in 2025.

"We have developed the Rise of the Ronin for about 7 years and plan to release it in 2024," Yasuda told Famitsu, via GamingBolt.

"This title will be released in 2023, and we want to release a new title in 2025. I look forward to letting you know about that in the future when I can," he added.

However, Yasuda has not really disclosed any details about what game the Ninja Team will release in 2023, and has stated that rumors about a studio working on a remaster for Ninja Gaiden or Dead or Alive are "misunderstood".

Although Yasuda admits that he is enthusiastic about the return of these beloved titles, he does not provide any details or information that can be shared.

Rise of The Ronin was announced again in 2022, after being developed about seven years ago. The game was set in Japan in the late 19th century during the end of the Edo period. In terms of gameplay, it will allow players to use various weapons and tools, including catalysts, firearms, and hooks. Ronin does not yet have a definite release date other than the 2024 release window.
