JAKARTA - Not only launching support for podcasting, YouTube Music recently also launched a sleep-time feature in its application.

Found for the first time by 9go5google, this sleep time control feature is on the Now Playing podcast page which replaces the repeat button on the right.

Similar to the timing feature on Spotify, this feature functions to give your music play time at a certain time. For example, if you set it within 30 minutes, then after that time has passed, the music will automatically stop.

These sleep timers don't seem to have rolled out widely and come because YouTube Music also provides real-time lyrics on Android and iOS, with the latter getting a slightly cooler interface.

Like podcast support, few people can try its features today. According to some leaks, this feature will start to be available to all users earlier this week.

In mid-December, YouTube Music conducted a poll on users about what features they wanted to see. The options are sleep time controllers, lyrical fixes, better recommendations, and background playback.

Based on the poll results, the sleeping time setting feature or the last choice won a landslide victory. To date, everyone is still waiting for its launch globally apart from Canada.
