Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Prime Commercial Airs At The Oscars

JAKARTA - Samsung surprisingly aired the first advertisement of its newest cellphone, Galaxy Z Flip through the Oscar 2020 event. The 15-second ad impressions showed a foldable Samsung device before the Galaxy Unpacked ceremony was held.

Launched 9TO5Google, During the ad, Samsung showed the design and some of the features of its newest folding screen phone. Without mentioning the name of the device, the phone looks closed and open, even showing how the phone looks when folded.

This ad is in accordance with the leaked hands-on video of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip some time ago. You can also see that this phone has a secondary display measuring 1 inch, to display phone notifications.

Indeed, Samsung will announce its own new device at the Galaxy Unpacked event, on February 11. But with the presence of this ad, of course, has succeeded in tempting netizens who are looking forward to this folding screen cellphone.

The Galaxy Z Flip is Samsung's second foldable smartphone and is marketed at a price of US $ 1,500 or around Rp. 20 million. The folding screen device has a screen span of 6.7 inches which is higher than a smartphone in general.

At first glance, the presence of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is said to be in direct competition with the Motorola Razr, which also carries a flip or clamshell-style folding screen phone. Moreover, Motorola will launch the Razr series on 18 February.

Judging from the specifications Galaxy Z Flip will use Snapdragon 865+ with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage space. This phone is also equipped with a dual 12MP resolution camera and a 10MP selfie camera.

In the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked celebration later, Google will also provide a surprise. Through its Android account, Google uploaded a Samsung ad and indicated that it would display a new feature for a foldable smartphone.
