JAKARTA - MediaTek, one of the popular mobile chip makers, has confirmed that they will present their latest chipset fabrication, on January 20.

This announcement is in line with previous leaks informed by Digital Chat Station that MediaTek is likely to launch a new chipset, the MT689X in mid-January, which will be the company's first chipset manufactured using the 6nm process.
As per reports, there are two new Dimensity chipsets coming up, manufactured using the 5nm or 6nm process. One of them is MT6893 which uses ARM Cortex-A78 cores and the main core has the highest frequency of 3.0GHz.
As for the graphics processing system, this chipset can come with the Mali-G77 GPU. Reports also suggest that the upcoming MediaTek chipset will have the same design configuration as the Exynos 1080, which powers the Vivo X60 lineup that just launched last week.
For information, the MediaTek Dimensity mobile processor series comes with support for 5G technology. So far, the company has launched several models in this lineup, from budget to premium mid-range models.
