OnePlus Band 5 Officially Launched In India

JAKARTA - OnePlus has finally officially launched its first wearable device, the OnePlus Band, in India. This smart fitness bracelet apart from offering an aggressive price tag it also comes with a decent look, long battery life, and has various health tracking features.

Similar to other fitness bands, the OnePlus Band is equipped with a touch screen with an AMOLED panel measuring 1.1 inches with a resolution of 126x294 pixels. Users can also customize the appearance by using different UI wallpapers.

In terms of dimensions and weight, the OnePlus Band weighs 22.6 grams and measures 40.4 x 17.6 x 11.95 mm. The rope can also be replaced by the user.

The OnePlus Band is equipped with various wellness features such as a heart rate sensor, SpO2 tracker, sleep quality monitor, gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer.

In health tracking mode, OnePlus Band supports tracking activities such as indoor and outdoor running, indoor and outdoor walking, indoor and outdoor cycling, elliptical trainer, rowing machine trainer, swimming, yoga, free training, feathers badminton, and cricket.

For connectivity, the OnePlus Band can be connected with Android devices running Android 6.0 OS or higher. Once paired, users can use the OnePlus Health app to track their health data. Also present is Bluetooth 5.0 LE support.

The 100mAh capacity device battery in the device promises up to 14 days of battery life. This device can be charged using a USB-A charging cable. In addition, the smart bracelet is also water resistant up to 5ATM and dust resistant.

So how much is it? As reported by Gizmochina, this Mi Band 5 competitor is priced at a very cheap price of only Rs. 399 or around Rp.77 thousand. This device comes in two colors, namely Tangerine Gray and Navy.

The inaugural sales of the fitness tracker will begin tomorrow (January 12) through online stores OnePlus India, Amazon India and Flipkart.
