JAKARTA - Reddit announced the release of its new feature that allows users to be able to search for comments in someone's Reddit posts via desktop, iOS, and Android as well.

This feature actually launched last year, where users can search for comments from all platforms by adding a "comment" tab in the search bar. However, unfortunately at that time you couldn't find comments in a particular user's post.

Now, with this new feature, Reddit gives you more capabilities than that. You no longer need to press Cmd+F or Ctrl+F anymore on the post page, because now you can easily search for comment threads.

Furthermore, Reddit said they had made many improvements over the past few months. In October last year, Reddit introduced a search for text in the image, which allows you to search for memes that have text in them.

"Our search and subreddit search algorithm has been upgraded to provide greater and more relevant subreddit sums for most searches," Reddit wrote further.

Reddit has also perfected automatic completion to make community search easier without having to type the correct name in the right order to find relevant results.

Now, when you tap on the search results of the video, now you can easily swipe up and down to switch between the video results in the Reddit mobile app on iOS and Android.
