JAKARTA - Germany's multinational technology company Bosch and Cambridge-based artificial intelligence laboratory Match.ai recently announced the launch of a new foundation. The initiative called the Match.ai Foundation aims to promote industrial adoption of software agents, artificial intelligence, and Web3 decentralized technology.

The foundation will focus on research and development, application and adoption of agents, artificial intelligence, and Web3 decentralized technology for use in the real world. The goal is to improve existing networks and help develop Web3-backed long-term solutions and services in sectors such as mobility, industrial technology, and consumer products.

According to the founder and CEO of Match.ai, Humayun Sheikh, the Match.ai team will inject funds of up to 100 million US dollars (equivalent to Rp1.5 trillion) into the artificial intelligence industry through various grant programs over the next three years. This is done as an effort to accelerate growth within their scope and to invite in line businesses and partners to join the foundation.

The foundation board will initially be filled by the Match.ai and Bosch teams, while the focus is on slowly developing the growth of strategic participants with businesses seeking to develop infrastructure for the "decentralized digital economy" driven by artificial intelligence.

The head of the Match.ai Foundation, Peter Busch, said that combining disruptive technologies with world-class hardware and software capabilities from classic technology companies like Bosch is essential. This will pave the way for other partners to join and form a pile of peer-to-peer technologies powered by artificial intelligence.

Bosch as a world leader in industrial engineering and mobility solutions sees a huge need for technology and smarter governance to address challenges that come with ecosystems increasingly connected to safety, security, privacy and data ownership.
