NFT Starbucks Take The Attention Of Digital Art Certificates

JAKARTA - Starbucks Odyssey's NFT program, which was launched in mid-September 2022, has attracted the attention of many people in less than three months. In its collaboration with Polygon (MATIC), Ethereum-based scaling solutions, the company's NFT tipping program has become a trend among Starbucks customers in the United States.

With total trading volumes reaching more than 100 thousand US dollars (approximately IDR 1.5 billion), Starbucks Odyssey has launched four airdrops and one artist, namely the collection of "Doing Good Journey Stamp" and "Bean to Cup Journey Stamp NFT" each with a base price of 60 US dollars (IDR 900 thousand) and 85 US dollars (IDR 1.2 million) with a volume traded of 1,000 US dollars (IDR 15 million) and 12 thousand US dollars (IDR 181 million).

While the other collections, 'Coffee Heritage Journey Stamp' with a base price of around USD 275 (IDR 4 million) and a total volume traded of USD 14 thousand (IDR 212 million).

However, the most notable is the NFT "Holiday Hour Edition 1 Stamp" which has a base price of more than US$2,000 and has attracted tremendous attention. Although on Friday, there was an NFT drop of about 80 percent of the total market-traded volume, Starbucks Odyssey is still considered a promising NFT project.

Starbucks Coffee Company aims to leverage Polygon's widespread adoption to develop its NFT community. The Polygon Network (MATIC) has emerged as a hub for top Web3 projects, including DeFi protocols such as Aave, Uniswap V3, the NFT OpenSea market, and Laszy.com founded by Mark Cuban.
