The 360 Derajat Video Background Is Now Available For Google Meet In Cellular

JAKARTA - Google has added a new capability for its Meet, which allows users on mobile devices to implement a 360-degree video background.

This ability was first announced by Google last month, and is now officially rolling out to all Google Workspace users and users with personal Google Accounts on iOS and Android.

"Adding to our existing immersive background library, Meet users on mobile devices can use some new 360-degree video backgrounds," wrote Google from its update page discovered by The Verge.

Google also noted that meeting admins will be able to enable or disable backgrounds for their users directly without having to ask for user approval.

More than that, the search giant also rolled out interactive widgets such as checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns on Chat app cards posted on Chat messaging streams.

This ability will allow you to quickly change the information sent from the Chat app, such as: Change the task recipient on the task card or change the maturity date on the task card, and select or cancel the choice on the card.

For this feature, it is now available for Google Workspace Essential, Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essential, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Funds, Education Plus, Education Standard, Teaching and Learning Upgrade, Frontline, and long-standing G customers for Suite Basic and Business.
