JAKARTA - Grab Indonesia is collaborating with PT SRC Indonesia Sembilan (SRCIS) by integrating various digital services from the Grab and OVO ecosystems to the AYO SRC application, which is a digital ecosystem platform from Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC).
The strategic partnership for digitizing MSMEs through OVO QRIS services at SRC grocery stores and GrabExpress delivery services on the AYO SRC application was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which was carried out in Jakarta on Tuesday, January 31 yesterday.
As the support for more than 60% of gross domestic product (GDP), MSMEs play a very important role in the economy in Indonesia. That way, the existence of grocery stores needs to be maintained together, in particular in order to remain competitive amidst the rapid development of digitalization.
The combination of digital adoption of various Grab and OVO ecosystem services in collaboration with the SRC digital ecosystem is expected to help grocery store MSMEs become more competitive and continue to make a positive contribution to the economy in their respective regions.
"This collaboration is based on the similarity of missions between Grab and PT SRCIS to encourage the benefits of digitization so that it can be enjoyed by various levels of society in Indonesia. This strategic collaboration is part of an effort to encourage the achievement of government targets in digitizing 30 million MSMEs by 2024," said Director of Grab for Business, Grab Indonesia, Roy Nugroho.
SRC partners can now take advantage of digital services from the Grab ecosystem including GrabExpress delivery services, sales of various digital products and the availability of QRIS OVO in SRC grocery stores.
"In addition to the owner of the SRC Store itself, I hope this collaboration with Grab can improve digital services to consumers so that it can meet the needs of the community in full," hoped the Director of PT SRC Indonesia Sembilan, Rima Tanago.
Through this strategic partnership, grocery stores that are members of the SRC for the first time can offer third-party delivery services to send groceries to consumer homes through the AYO SRC application using the GrabExpress service.
Not only that, consumers who shop offline will find it comfortable with cashless payment options, through the availability of QRIS OVO so that SRC stores can be the main choice for consumers to meet their daily needs.
