Amazon Falls To NFT, Will You LIKE Digital Asset Marketplace?

JAKARTA Amazon, the global retail giant, will reportedly launch its digital asset and NFT market company this spring. According to sources interviewed by media outlet Blockworks, the company has purchased digital collection companies from various players in the crypto ecosystem to support its new venture.

Amazon has invested in blockchain layer-1 and crypto gaming companies as well as hired developers from NFT companies and cryptocurrency exchanges for its own blockchain unit. The move will be significant for the crypto gaming industry, which has experienced a decline in players due to several project scams that hit the market by the end of 2021.

Amazon doesn't seem to be worried about the data. Because the company has seen the best moments for crypto games when many of the projects are forced to expand the storage services offered by Amazon Web Services as a result of growing demand for big players.

Amazon's presence is very important for the crypto ecosystem, as it will attract many players who are waiting for the right time to return to the crypto gaming industry.

"We know it's possible, [...] But now it looks like it really happened. This will affect the players who are already in that space - if they execute and do it right and intelligently," Amazon wrote.

Now, Amazon is rumored to be running a new NFT platform to have full control over a platform that is potentially the largest in the NFT industry. Amazon's new platform is expected to become an important player in the NFT industry, especially given Amazon's huge number of users.

It is currently unknown whether Amazon's new platform will seek to compete directly with major NFT marketplaces like the latest OpenSea, Rarible, or Samsung NFT platform or whether it will focus more on crypto games considering Amazon owns Twitch.

However, Amazon's entry into the crypto ecosystem is expected to attract many investors who are aware of the growing industrial potential and have a lot of room for improvement and growth in the wider gaming industry.
