JAKARTA - Twitter has opened registrations for those who wish to be the first to be able to access verification programs for organizations or formerly known as Blue for Business.

"We will soon launch Verification for the Organization, formerly known as Blue for Business. Today, you can apply for initial access through our waiting list," Twitter wrote in its announcement on Saturday, January 14.

If an organization registers itself, then the organization's Twitter account will get an official affiliation badge from Twitter.

When registering, the organization must send their name, username Twitter, and website for consideration by the company on the waiting list. They must also show the size and estimated number of affiliated accounts.

"We will review the app and open access to limited groups in rotation in the coming weeks," Twitter said in a follow-up tweet.

This upcoming feature is meant to help ensure that users who claim to be part of a specific organization are proven to be true.

Musk has also announced that the website will offer ticks in a variety of colors, including gold for the company, gray for the government, and blue for individual accounts.

With this new policy, Musk is valuable to be able to eradicate fake accounts that are scattered on his platform.
