Community Notes Twitter Now Can Be Seen By Users Around The World

JAKARTA - Twitter has started rolling out Compunity Notes to everyone around the world, as a new collaborative way of delivering more reliable information.

Based on records from Twitter, the Community Notes aims to create a better world of information by empowering people on Twitter to collaboratively add contexts to potentially misleading Tweets.

Contributors will later be able to leave notes on any Tweets and if there are enough contributors from various points of view who find the note useful, the note will be publicly displayed in a Tweet.

Initially, this feature was only launched by Twitter users in the United States (US), but in a recent tweet, Twitter revealed that Community Notes is now available worldwide.

It should be emphasized that Community Notes is a feature that runs independently. This means that the Twitter team will not be able to edit or modify these records.

"Tweets with Community Notes will not be labeled, deleted, or addressed by Twitter unless they are found to have violated our Twitter Regulation, Service Requirements, or Privacy Policy," Twitter wrote on its help center site.

You can also register as a contributor to this Community Notes via a link provided by Twitter via the @CommunityNotes account.

"People around the world who want to write notes, can now register. We will expand the country's contribution base for the country. We will soon add contributors from the first new country," added Twitter.

If you haven't been able to view or register for Community Notes, you don't have to worry. Because Twitter will gradually add countries other than the US.
