Android 13 Presents For Android TV OS, Check The Latest Feature

JAKARTA - Android 13 has finally rolled out for Android TV's Operation System (OS). Google provides it with improved performance and accessibility to help developers build attractive apps on TV.

As is always the case with OS updates, Google brings more APIs that are common to developers, but they also bring new features to users.

On Android 13 for Android TV, users can change the resolution and speed of the default refresh on an HDMI-supported device.

Google stated that this capability will create a more reliable playback experience. Furthermore, the app will also be able to choose an optimal audio format without having to start playback first.

There are also different keyboard layouts that will be better supported and allow game developers to refer to buttons based on their physical location.

Currently, the OS is available on ADT-3 testing platforms, as well as Android TV emulators. And developers also have months to try out their apps on Google TV interfaces or standard Android TV interfaces with beta versions.

However, according to Digital Trends, Saturday, December 3, Google did not elaborate which Android TV brand will get the Android 13 update first.

But it will depend on the manufacturer, Chromecast claims with Google TV getting it early, and possibly Nvidia Shield as well.
