JAKARTA - Elon Musk on Wednesday, November 30 tweeted that there was a misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from Apple Inc's App Store. This was resolved after his meeting with iPhone's Chief Executive, Tim Cook.

"The team is clear that Apple has never considered doing so," the billionaire CEO of Twitter and Tesla Inc said in a tweet.

On Monday, November 28, Musk had accused Apple of threatening to block Twitter from its app stores without saying why in a series of tweets it said it had stopped ads on social media platforms.

He then tagged Cook's Twitter account on another tweet, asking "what's going on here?"

Twitter and Apple did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Musk's latest tweet. Apple has not publicly responded to Musk's previous tweet.

Among Musk's list of complaints last Monday was a fee of up to 30% that Apple charges software developers for in-app purchases, as Musk posted a meme showing he was willing to "war" with Apple rather than pay the commission.
