Pinterest announced the termination of the Creator Rewards program, one of the programs for creators to earn money on November 30, 2022.
With this program, creators will make money by creating Idea Pins, a video format introduced by Pinterest last year according to the theme determined by Pinterest every month.
Thus, Pinterest will pay creators directly with the most inspiring and quality content on its platform.

"The Creator Rewards Program will end on November 30, 2022. To all the creators who have participated, thank you for your partnership," the company wrote in its post on the Pinterest aid website.
In its announcement, the company said the reason behind the termination of the program was because they would focus on programs and other features.
"After launching several new features in 2022, we made difficult decisions to stop the Creator's Prize program to focus on other programs and features," he explained.
Launching from TechCrunch, the Creator Rewards program was launched last year, and Pinterest plans to invest $20 million in the program.
Separately, the company also launched a Creator Fund with $ 500,000 (IDR 7.8 billion) in funds, injecting an additional US $ 1.2 million (IDR 18 billion) this year into the project.
Meanwhile, Pinterest will continue programs such as Creator Fund and Ideas Pins.
"We are committed to exploring more ways to help you achieve success at Pinterest and we look forward to finding more opportunities to work together in 2023," the company concluded.
