JAKARTA - Unlike other game developers, Joipaw, a British-based startup is serious about creating a game specifically for dogs.

RUN on a special saliva-resistant touchscreen console, the company claims that this game can be beneficial for the health of the dog's brain.

One of the founders of Joipaw, Dersim Avdar who is also a gamer, revealed that this game is also intended as a substitute for humans in spending time with their dogs.

The game will later include the challenge of derating rats and testing to see if Doggie players can choose which side of the image contains more bubbles.

When the dog is successful, the console will distribute snacks. The movement-sensitive tracker on the dog's collar also allows additional control for some games.

Advar admits that in his game design, games for dogs are made simpler than games for humans. All you need is to persuade your dogs so they start playing.

"In testing with nearly two dozen dogs, the most difficult step is to get dogs to start playing without creatures that catch the attention of dogs on the screen," Avdar told Axios.

"But, when they do, it's a magic moment where you see the light in their eyes." added Advar.

A professor of animal and computer interactions at Open University in England, Clara Mancini said touchscreen brain games for dogs were young but very promising.

Mancini believes this video game can offer benefits that other puzzle dog toys cannot provide, as it can be designed to be even more difficult.

Avdar does not have a time frame to release Joipaw and is working on a price model for devices and subscriptions that will share it in the future.
