JAKARTA - Google brings its VPN access to desktop Thursday, November 10. Google One customers with Premium (2TB or higher) packages can now download VPN apps for Windows and macOS, which allow users in 22 countries to cover their IPs on desktop and reduce online trackers.

While Google is expanding its VPN service, there are still the same limits as Android and iOS. You can only use services in one of the supported countries, and you won't be able to use Google's VPN freely to avoid geographical restrictions on live sports broadcasts or other video streaming.

Just like Apple's iCloud Plus VPN service, Google One VPN won't allow you to manually set IP addresses from other countries. Instead, Google gives you IP in the region you connect to.
