JAKARTA - Snap Inc., has used Snapchat as a way to help its users try accessories virtually or Virtual Try-On (VTO). Now, Snapchat is expanding its Augmented Reality support to Amazon Fashion subscribers.

The new Snapchat experiment lens will feature thousands of popular virtual eyewear products from Amazon Fashion, enabling Amazon brands to leverage their Amazon AR assets and showcase styles in a fun interactive experience for millions of Snapchatters.

With this new feature, customers will be able to explore, shop, and try thousands of style glasses digitally directly on Snapchat and then buy them easily at Amazon Fashion stores.

"Amazon Fashion is always looking for new ways to collaborate with brands and create fun and innovative shopping experiences for customers," said Muge Erdirik Dogan, president of Amazon Fashion in an announcement on the Snapchat Newsroom website.

Dogan continued, Virtual Try-On for Eyewear has been a customer favorite for a long time. "We love partnering with Snapchat and increasingly expanding AR spending on fashion brands and the current new generation of digital buyers," he explained.

In partnership, Amazon and Snap set 3D asset standards, which allow an extensive Amazon asset library to be integrated easily with AR Try-On Snap Technology.

That way, Snap Lens will be able to enable it to display 3D assets along with product information, as well as update availability automatically, and provide buyers with the latest product options.

With the combined innovation and technology between Snap and Amazon, we are opening up an exciting and exciting new experiment experience for hundreds of millions of Snapchatters. AR glasses are just the first step in our partnership, and we can't wait to continue our innovations together," said Ben Schwerin, SVP Partnership, Snap Inc.

Shopping lensing will be available via the Public Profile @amazonfashion on Snapchat, in the Snap Lens Explorer in the tab For You and Funding, as well as in the South of the Snapchat Camera Lens.
