JAKARTA - Google is again taking advantage of the greatness of its search engine, aka Search, by launching several new shopping features. Users can easily find good offers directly from the search.

When users browse a product, Google will now display results with coupon codes that they can copy and paste at checkout. However, coupons are only available for certain products.

Although, Google says products that are already displayed when items are on sale or if prices have dropped, the goal of this new feature is to show users specific promotions and allow them to compare them with other prices directly on Search.

Any product with coupons available will have a new 'Special Offering' badge in the top left corner of its mini image. Previously, Google only labeled the product when it was on discount or when the price dropped, but this new badge made it clearer when coupons were available.

The search giant from Mountain View, California, United States (US) will launch this feature on desktop and mobile in the coming weeks.

Launching The Verge, Wednesday, October 2, in addition to adding coupons, Google also introduced a way to compare offerings side by side on mobile phones starting later this month.

This feature will begin to group any product sold in the bidding category, this can allow users to expand and explore directly in the search results.

Price labels are also displayed there, which Google has already offered in its Shop tab to search for. The feature is to help buyers understand the prices they see and make better purchase decisions.

Now, users will be able to quickly see how the price of one brand is compared to the other and whether it's low, or high for certain products.

Google's decision to bring the feature from the Shop tab to the Search results is a welcome decision, especially for people who don't want to click on other tabs and prefer to search for products directly through those search engines.

First, Google also recently expanded Chrome's special shopping tool, bringing the price tracking feature it offers on mobile to desktop, notifying users whenever a certain product price drops.
