JAKARTA - The migration of analog terrestrial TV systems to the digital Analog Switch Off (ASO) will be held today November 2 at 24.00 WIB in the Jabodetabek area.

According to an official statement from the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo), the implementation of ASO will cover areas where the digital broadcast ecosystem is ready, including 14 regencies or cities in Jabodetabek.

Until now, the government has distributed free Set Top Box (STB) assistance to Household Poor (RTM) nationally of around 1,055,360 STB units.

The Jabodetabek area has distributed 473,308 STB units from the target of 479,307 STB units. However, 60,791 RTM did not meet the criteria or failed handover.

RTM prospective STB recipients must be registered in the decile 1 data on the Acceleration of Targeting Extreme Poverty Elimination (P3KE), while specifically for DKI Jakarta Province is RTM which has been registered in the DKI Jakarta Province's 1 decile search data.

However, for RTMs that have not received STBs until November 2, 2022, they can apply independently by calling Call Center 159 or to the phone number of the nearest STB Assistance Handling Quick Response Post.
