Link Net And PT XL Axiata Collaboration Presents Super Large Internet With Speed 1 Gbps

JAKARTA - PT Link Net Tbk (Link Net) and PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) announced their cooperation by launching internet convergence services through First Media and XL collaboration products.

To strengthen the company's position in the telecommunications industry, this collaboration will combine high-speed internet services without quota restrictions, streaming content.

Victor Indajang, Chief Commercial Officer of Link Net said that this innovation was present to answer customers' needs for the internet inside and outside the home through more efficient, practical, and efficient services.

"This collaboration is carried out as a tangible form of First Media's concern to serve the overall needs of customer internet, both indoors and outside the home, through the provision of convergence of cable-based broadband services (fixed line broadband) and mobile internet services," he said at a press conference held on Thursday, October 20 in Jakarta.

Currently, the internet has become a vital necessity that plays an important role in supporting the lives and activities of the people who are currently adapting to the hybrid digital world.

"The provision of collaboration products is a form of synergy that we built with Link Net to support our efforts to realize XL Axiata's vision of becoming the leading convergence operator in Indonesia," said David Arcelus Oses, Director & Chief Commercial Officer XL Axiata.

David hopes that this collaboration product can meet the increasingly massive needs of internet-based technology and digital platforms, along with the increasing need and use of the internet both at home and outside the home.

Link Deputy Chief Marketing Officer Net Santiwati Basuki revealed that this internet convergence service has many benefits for First Media customers.

"For indoor use, customers have access to fast internet services without (unlimited) quota that can be relied on for daily activities such as work, learning, watching video streaming, or playing games," he added.

As for internet use outside the home, Santi added, First Media customers are given convenience with the Joint Quota Package from XL Axiata with a wide range, large quota and can be distributed to all family members.

This First Media and XL collaboration product can be enjoyed by customers from both companies. Customers only need to make one payment, namely through one First Media bill.

Home Internet

First Media provides a super big package, namely fast internet without limiting quotas with speeds of up to 1 Gbps, cable TV entertainment of more than 200 channels, streaming content through applications such as FirstMediaX, Lionsgate Play, Viu, CATCHPLAY+, and HBO GO, as well as First+ Cloud online storage services of up to 1 TB.

Outdoor Internet

For outdoor internet, XL Axiata will provide internet data packages that have a large quota of up to 100 GB, which can be shared up to four family members or relatives of fellow XL users.
