JAKARTA - The StoreDot, the leader of Israel's super-fast electric vehicle battery, has proven the superior performance of extreme fast charging battery technology by sending cells that have exceeded 1000 cycles in production-ready EV form factors.

As previously set, the StoreDot '100in5' cell is repeatedly recharged from a capacity of 10 to 80 percent, and it only takes 10 minutes and then vacated for an hour before refilling.
This important milestone follows the announcement of the StoreDot in March, where the company has set a world record of 1200 cycles for extreme fast charging cells in prototype format.

StoreDot continues to develop XFC technology in cylinder and hygienic form factors with an update expected to be sent soon to OEM partners.
"I am pleased to announce that we have not only achieved our target but have also exceeded it and we have had enhanced formulations in our laboratory that allow us to show better performance," added Fein.
Fein explained, when lithium batteries are charged and vacated once, it's called a cycle. Then, usually the lithium battery capacity decreases rapidly in the fast charging cycle.
"Our dominant silicon kimia is different, allowing EV battery cells to charge more than 1000 cycles before decreasing. batteries up to 80% of their original capacity," he said.
