JAKARTA The famous British band, MUSE, has launched its album in NFT format. This was initiated by British Serenade and Warner Records which presents a new musical format in NFT.

Based on Serenade's official website, each Digital Pressing includes audio and album artwork, the press is limited in the size of the set edition, a bonus material that meets the graph requirements, on-chain royalties, and collector modules.

Reported by NFT Now, on August 26, the British rock band MUSE has made history by becoming the first artist to offer an album in this new format by releasing Will of the People. The album sold out in just 25 minutes. Although this album does not qualify for the US charts, this album will have the opportunity to rank top on the UK and Australian charts.

Sold out! Get a piece of history on the charts through Opensea's secondary market," the announcement reads on Serenade's Twitter post.

MUSE and NFT

This isn't the first time the MUSE has worked on NFT. The vocalist, Mathew target has previously released three new singles as NFT last July. It includes a track of songs recorded on one of Jeff Buckley's late guitar rock icons.

Each Digital Pressing of Will of the People and all subsequent albums released in this format will be counted as a single sale of physical albums on the charts. For this pilot launch, sales data will be listed on the music charts on the British and Australian music markets.

According to Serenade founder Max Shand, the new format of the music will offer something unique and attractive to fans of their band. Shand explained the latest offer called the Digital Pressing format.
