JAKARTA - LG Electronic has begun to enter the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) world by launching its own NFT platform called LG Arts Lab.

Based on a press release on Monday, September 5, LG said that this new platform allows LG smart TV users running 5.0 or later webOS to buy, sell, and enjoy high-quality digital artwork.

"Providing incredible image quality and offering some large screen sizes to choose from, advanced LG TV is the perfect medium for displaying someone's NFT collection," the company wrote on the LGNewsroom web.

The newly available platform in the US will include the LG Art Lab Drops feature, which features artist profiles and previews new works that appear on the main screen of Smart TV LG.

Meanwhile, a real-time Live Drops countdown ensures users never miss the opportunity to get the NFT just launched.

According to the company, users will be made easier in making purchases and selling NFTs in a simple way, namely by combining QR codes on the screen.

Then, the QR code allows users to quickly complete transactions through Wallypto, a cryptocurrency wallet company for smartphones.

"After purchase, NFT can be traded in LG Art Lab Marketplace, where users can easily view transaction history," added LG.

The change states that the work displayed on the OLED LG TV screen will have a ratio of 16:9, and the image will live on incredible contrast and color accuracy.

As its first opening, LG Art Lab welcomed the first digital artwork of the famous sculptor Barry X Ball. A few months later, the work of other artists will soon be present at LG Art Lab.
