First Season Content Of MultiVersus Game Will Add Arcade Mode And New Characters

JAKARTA - As part of the EVO 2022 event, Warner Bros. revealed that the first season of MultiVersus content will be coming soon by adding Arcade mode, rank battles, new cosmetics, and also new characters.

Previously, a thread from the official MultiVersus Twitter announced that Rick & Morty's Mory would be a new character. But unfortunately, the planned launch which was supposed to be held on August 9 had to be postponed.

But now, the developer revealed a photo on Twitter showing that the content of the first season of MultiVersus is coming soon.

Rick and Morty, from the show of the same name, have been confirmed. Additionally, according to images released by Warner Bros., LeBron James will receive a costume based on Robin from Batman.

"Taste your eyes on this, our MVP: Season 1 Highlights! Stay tuned for the official Season 1 announcement date, coming soon," Warner Bros. said on Twitter.

While it's not clear yet when the content will be released, this delay is unlikely to change the order in which these characters launch, although it should make fans wait a little longer.

According to a report from CGV last week, MultiVersus game director Tony Huynh confirmed that the MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass will include 50 tiers and will cost around $10.

Apart from that, the developers also revealed that they are planning to nerf the character Bugs Bunny. Following the announcement, MultiVersus developer Player First Games has confirmed some time ago that the Wonder Woman character in the game will be a buff.
