In its official statement, Erajaya Group will market the DJI Mavic Mini 2 to the Indonesian market. The tiny drone, which weighs no more than 249 grams, will start selling the Eraspace retail outlets, Urban Republic Store and the DJI Official which can be found on the marketplace.
"DJI Mini 2 is the successor of the DJI Mavic Mini which was launched last year. This series is designed to present the smallest and most powerful drone at an affordable price, making it suitable for both beginners and professionals," said Director of Erajaya Group, Djohan Sutanto, Friday, 13 November.
Regarding the price, the DJI Mini 2 will be available in two options, starting from the standard package containing a remote control, battery and spare propeller for IDR 7,099,000. Then the Mini 2 Fly Combo package that is sold includes a shoulder bag, extra battery, and charging hub for IDR 9,299,000
In terms of capabilities, this successor to the DJI Mini includes several improvements. Starting from the ability to fly longer for up to 30 minutes, to recording video at 4K 30fps (100Mbps) quality.
DJI Mini 2 also no longer uses a WiFi connection to connect controllers to drones. Instead, it uses a DJI connection called OcuSync 2 which has a range of 2.5 times farther.
This Mavic Mini 2 upgrade also includes better imaging features with the RAW format, in addition to the JPG format. The engine used is claimed to be faster than before, with a higher maximum speed of 35.8 mph and is able to withstand winds of up to 24 mph.
