JAKARTA - Apple has started rolling out the public beta for the iOS 16 update. So, you can already try the new features of the update.

iOS 16 was first introduced at Apple's biggest annual event, WWDC 2022 in early June. At that time, the company brought many improvements and features as a new way of users to use their iPhone.

The company says that the update includes a Lock Screen update, new sharing, communication and intelligence features that together change the way users enjoy iPhone.

iOS 16 also introduces iCloud Shared Photo Library for seamless sharing of photo collections with family, Messages and Mail updates that help users stay connected easily, and powerful improvements to Live Text and Visual Look Up.

How to Install iOS 16 Public Beta

According to TechCrunch, the public beta allows you to test new features without having to pay $99 for a developer account. To install the new public beta, visit the Apple Beta Software Program website, sign in with your Apple ID, and download the configuration profile for the device for which you want to install the test version.

Once you've set up a profile on your phone, you'll get a prompt in Settings > General > Software Update to download the iOS 16 public beta.
