JAKARTA - Recently, the developer of the Valorant game, Riot Games said it would monitor voice chats that are considered disturbing for players' comfort.

In a blog post, Riot Games has updated its Privacy Notice and Terms of Service to be able to record conversations in in-game voice chats in order to evaluate when there are reports of this type of disruptive behavior.

"Earlier this year, we also mentioned that as part of our current gaming system that combats disruptive behavior," the company wrote in an announcement on its blog.

With this vote evaluation, it further clarifies Riot Games' efforts to combat disruptive behavior in its games.

Furthermore, the company also said that the evaluation of this vote will also be evidence of a violation of the behavior policy and be taken into consideration for what action to take.

Starting July 13, Riot Games will roll out a background vote evaluation system for North America and the UK. Its launch in these two countries is only to train the language model. At the end of the year, the system will be launched for beta.

It should be noted that the rollout of voice evaluations in North America and the UK cannot yet be used to report disruptive behavior, this evaluation can be done at a later beta launch.

"We know that before we can think about expanding this tool, we have to believe it's effective," concluded Riot Games.
