US Patent And Trademark Office Approves Apple Add Camera On Apple Watch

JAKARTA - Apple has reportedly obtained a patent to add a camera to the upcoming version of the Apple Watch.

On its website, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) explains some interesting details regarding the implementation of the camera.

One of them is, the camera lens attached to the digital crown can be rotated. With this configuration, it allows you to shoot simply by pointing your hand at the scene you want to photograph.

In addition, there is also a camera mounted on the back of the clock. Removing the watch case with the strap allows you to take pictures with the camera mounted on the back.

There's also an LED that can function as a flash to illuminate dark scenes, according to patent records. Launching from Techspot, the Apple Watch's home screen will act as a digital viewfinder and display for reviewing captured images.

According to Patent records, the technology giant has submitted documents related to the addition of cameras several years ago. The new patent shared details about the filing this week. So, it is unlikely that this feature will be present in the near future.
