Hogwarts Legacy Coming With DualSense Controller, 3D Audio, 4K Graphics Display, And More

JAKARTA - Community Manager, WB Games Avalanche, Chandler Wood announced that when Hogwarts Legacy releases on PS5, the game will take full advantage of all the features exclusive to the console.

These features include 3D Audio, faster loading via SSD drives, as well as 4K graphics. What's even more interesting, however, is how the game will use a DualSense controller connected to your wand.

DualSense Controller

Like a wizard in the Harry Potter films, a wizard cannot leave their wand. The PlayStation 5's DualSense wireless controller becomes an extension of your stick at Hogwarts Legacy.

“With so many spells at your disposal, adaptive triggers allow for more flexibility in battle,” says Chandler Wood.

With the DualSense controller in your wand, you can feel magical resistance at your fingertips through each spell thanks to haptic feedback that provides a direct connection between the DualSense controller and your wand.

When you parry a spell with Protego, you will feel a hiss of magic reflected and absorbed by the Shield Charm. The DualSense controller lets you experience events.

What's even more unique is that the DualSense controller lights will flash according to the colors of your Hogwarts house: blue and bronze for Ravenclaw, red and gold for Gryffindor, green and silver for Slytherin, and yellow and black for Hufflepuff.

Hogwarts Visuals and Audio

WB Games Avalanche will deliver stunning 4K graphics in Hogwarts Legacy on pS5 that let you enjoy every corner of Hogwarts and beyond.

As well as a choice between Fidelity and Performance graphics modes. This option will allow you to create the experience of your choice, whether it be prioritizing higher framerates or visual fidelity.

There's also AudioTech 3D from the PS5 console that will put you right in the heart of the wizarding world. You'll be able to hear the crackle of fire as you toss Incendio, potions bubbling in the cauldron, and the unique sound details of each environment to really make you feel like you're in the game.

If you play without headphones, you'll be treated to additional immersive sounds through the DualSense controller speakers, such as the gentle flapping of Hippogriff's wings and the effects of each spell you say.

Plus, the PS5's ultra-high-speed SSD will provide fast loading times when moving from one place to another.
