SEA Games 2021 Host Vietnam Wins Crossfire Gold Medal After Defeating Philippines In Grand Final

JAKARTA - After going on for two days, the 2021 SEA Games Esports competition with the Crossfire number ended on Sunday, May 22.

After passing the previous four matches, the last match closed with a meeting between the Philippines and the host, Vietnam, in the final round.

In the Final round, the match will continue to use the Best Of Five (BO5) format, which will be held five times, one team will win if it gets 3 scores first.

Previously, the Crossfire number at the 2021 SEA Games was followed by four countries, namely Laos, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. However, Laos was eliminated first, while Indonesia became the third winner.

In the final round of the first game, Vietnam won the match by 10-7 points from the Philippines. The score at that time was 1-0 for Vietnam.

In the second game, Vietnam won again with 10-5 points. The score was changed to 2-0 for Vietnam.

However, until the third game, it seemed that the Philippines could not catch up with Vietnam.

In this match, the Philippines lost to Vietnam by 5-10 points. These results indicate that the third game will be the last game in the 2021 SEA Games Crossfire Finals.

Because they already have 3 scores, the host came out as the first champion in this year's Crossfire number, and was entitled to take home the gold. While the Philippines got silver.

Lastly, Lucas, one of the Vietnamese Crossfire athletes, also became the MVP in this match. Lucas managed to get 19 kills and 10 deaths.
