How To Play The Game Fortnite On IPhone

JAKARTA - Epic Games and Apple have not reconciled since their feud at the end of 2020, which made Fortnite unplayable on Apple devices.

But now thanks to an agreement between Epic Games and Microsoft, Fortnite fans on Apple devices are back to being able to play the battle royale game for free.

Even so, players still can't find Fortnite on the Apple Store, but players must stream it using the Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming service in a web browser on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Microsoft and Epic partnered to make Fortnite accessible for free to play, so if you normally play on a PlayStation 5 or other device and don't have an Xbox Live subscription, players can still play Fortnite on the go. Here VOI informs you how to play Fortnite on iPhone.

How to Play Fortnite on iPhone

First of all, players must add a shortcut to the home screen of their iPhone or iPad to Xbox Cloud Gaming. For that, open Safari and go to xbox.com/play.

Players will see a request from the site asking them to add Cloud Gaming to their home screen. Otherwise, players can still add them with a quick tap on the Share button followed by selecting Add to Home Screen from the list of options.

Also, players can change the name of the shortcut from Cloud Gaming if they want, but it's not mandatory. Tap Add then return to the iPhone or iPad Home Screen and find the new icon.

Open Cloud Gaming, players will be redirected to a page that is exactly like the Xbox website that was just opened. Select Play Free under the Fortnite banner at the top of the screen. Next, tap Sign In, then sign in to the player's Microsoft account.

Once logged in, tap Play on the Fortnite page. The Apple device will then start loading Fortnite, complete with touch controls that resemble the on-screen Xbox controller. To play Fortnite, you need a stable internet connection, as quoted from ZDNet, Sunday, May 8.
