JAKARTA - TikTok is now adopting a feature owned by LinkedIn, Profile View History, so users can see who visited their profile in the last 30 days.

Although this feature has not been confirmed by TikTok, the social media support page already has information on how to enable or disable profile viewing.

It is not known for sure if this feature is being tested or has been rolled out more widely to its users. Additionally, the support page also states this feature is only available to users who are over the age of 16, and have less than 5,000 followers.

TikTok's Profile View Story feature was first seen in the application code by reverse engineer Mat Navarra in early January.

Launching TechCrunch, Friday, April 29, if users have the feature, they will see an eye icon in the upper right corner when viewing their own profile. When they click on it, users will see who viewed their profile in the last 30 days.

Only users of that profile can see who visited them. This feature must be activated manually, and not automatically.

Once the user is on the page where they can see who viewed the profile, the user can disable the profile view by clicking the settings icon in the upper right corner, selecting Settings and Privacy, clicking Privacy, selecting Profile Views and clicking Profile View History.

When a user activates this feature, other TikTok users who have also enabled the feature will be able to see when the user has also viewed their own profile.
