Spotify Makes It Easy For Users To Find Songs, Just With A Piece Of Lyrics

JAKARTA - Music streaming service Spotify hears complaints from its users. Many of us don't know the song title but know the lyrics, and now Spotify brings this new search feature.

With this latest feature, users can now find songs by simply searching for the lyrics. It's easy, of course, type a few lyrics into the Spotify search bar and the app will display matching songs. Songs that may be searched will be labeled "Lyrics match."

The new feature searching for songs by lyrics can be a very useful feature, not especially for people who have difficulty remembering song titles, but can usually remember key lines of a song.

However, this feature is actually not the first time Spotify has had it, Apple with its music service Apple Music has had it since 2018.

However, Spotify's move is considered very good, considering that not everyone is an Apple Music subscriber.

For your information, this isn't the only lyrics-related feature Spotify added recently. The company has also introduced real-time lyrics provided by Musixmatch to 26 countries last June.
