JAKARTA - Adobe has finally brought Frame.io to be part of Creative Cloud. Frame.io is known for its capabilities as an online video review provider and collaboration platform for creative professionals.
Adobe's acquisition of Frame.io occurred in August last year which cost 1.275 billion US dollars equivalent to Rp. 18.3 trillion.
With Frame.io coming to Creative Cloud, Adobe customers using the latest versions of Premiere Pro and After Effects will get access to the Frame.io extension as part of their existing subscription.
“This is our first step in building an end-to-end cloud-based video platform that integrates seamlessly with Premiere Pro and other tools our customers use,” Paul Saccone, Adobe Vice President of Marketing for Frame.io.
“With more video content being created than ever before and remote work becoming the new norm, Frame.io for Creative Cloud will enable editors and key stakeholders such as producers, agencies and clients to collaborate seamlessly and get final approvals faster.” he added.
Launching TechCrunch, Wednesday, April 13, Frame.io for Creative Cloud will provide a variety of free access, with an unlimited number of external reviewers, accelerated file transfers, and 100GB of dedicated Frame.io storage, which will be separate from the Creative Cloud storage plan. .
Users can also log in to Frame.io using their Adobe ID. Additionally, the service will also include Frame.io's camera-to-cloud feature, which will allow remote editors to start editing their videos while the rest of the crew is still recording.
“It's an automated workflow that uploads files from the camera to the cloud, making them available to editors in Premiere Pro just moments later,” explains Saccone.
“It takes production and post-production processes that are traditionally linear and parallel so that everyone can work together at the same time,” he added.
For your information, Adobe is also bringing an update to Premiere Pro, which includes an AI-based first-pass color correction tool that it hopes will make one of the more tedious parts of the video editing process a little easier.
This tool will automatically apply color correction to the video clip and then leave it to the video editor to work on details such as skin tone or sky color.
There is also a new export mode that will give users a more efficient experience when they want to post their videos to YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
