JAKARTA - The acclaimed sci-fi mystery, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim finally arrived on Nintendo Switch on Tuesday, April 12. Until now, games from Atlus and Vanillaware were only available on PlayStation 4 and PS5 via Backward Compatibility.

Launching GamingBolt, 13 Sentinel brings together 13 stories and features a beautiful hand-painted art style. Gradually, you will learn about their teenage lives, including their romances, rivals, motivations, and fantasies.

Also, you'll discover why they must pilot a mech to fight the kaiju in a far and mysterious future. You'll be able to customize the loading of your mechs (controlled robots) to best suit your environment and enemy type.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, a daring video game that combines a century of sci-fi tropes into something new and unexpected. The story is universal with multiple definitions of the word, and its structure manages to blur the line between visual novels and master theses in the fiction genre.

Atlus released 13 Sentinels in Japan in 2019 and worldwide in 2020. Atlus received great reviews, especially for the story and visuals. Both the digital and physical editions cost $60, though the latter comes with a bonus art card.
