JAKARTA - Throughout 2020, many events have occurred, one of which is the corona virus pandemic. This increasingly difficult situation has prompted the Unicode Consortium to present hundreds of new emojis that can be used to express the situation in 2020.
Launching from Apple Insider, Wednesday, September 23, there are 217 emojis that will be presented in 2021. Starting from facial expressions of fatigue, confusion, disappointment to displeasure and gloom over the course of 2020.
"In recent years, the March Unicode release has worked well for vendors sending major OS updates in September-October," wrote Emojipedia.
In a thread on Twitter, Google's creative director emoji program, Jennifer Daniel revealed that there are also a number of new characters and emojis that will be presented. Includes emojis that depict the relationship of the couple in various color and gender combinations.

These new emojis will be coming in the Unicode 13.1 version update. Even so, it is not yet known when this new emoji will be rolled out to Android and iOS devices soon.
