LG Wing Design Leaks Unusual Dual Screen Phone

JAKARTA - South Korean mobile phone manufacturer LG has been experimenting with dual-screen devices for several years, such as the LG Velvet and V60 which were launched earlier this year. And now, the latest leak of two-screen cell phones is back.

Earlier this year LG was reportedly working on a dual screen phone dubbed the "Wing" with a rotating screen design. Based on the leaked video uploaded by Android Authority, LG has shown a prototype of the rotating screen cellphone.

The video, which was uploaded on August 25, shows how the LG smartphone can work with the main screen measuring 6.8 inches in a vertical position. Interestingly, there is a secondary 4-inch screen that can be used to open different applications simultaneously.

In the video, the driver uses a larger screen for GPS navigation with music controls on the second screen. Also seen, when a phone call comes in, the notification appears on a smaller screen without losing the music player display.

Unfortunately, the video does not show how the rotating motion of the LG phone is or how good it is when compared to conventional phones. It is also mentioned that this phone will use a Snapdragon 765 series processor.

According to 9to5Google, the base of the phone is identical to the LG VX9400 that appeared in the mid-2000s. This cellphone is rarely on the market, but this LG device was shown in the first Iron Man film in 2008.
