Wanda Nara, Mauro Icardi And China Suarez Controversy Probably Won't Subside Anytime Soon

JAKARTA - The saga continues. The controversy over Wanda Nara, Mauro Icardi and China Suarez is unlikely to subside anytime soon, although the Paris Saint-Germain forward and his wife appear to be reuniting.

The feud began when Icardi was found to have an affair with Suarez. However, the model defended herself. Through Instagram, he sent a special message to Nara.

"I write to reject the external noise of lies, abuse, and manipulated stories," he wrote. "I am a scapegoat for media violence.

"I've been silent for a long time for several reasons: fear and experience. Because I don't know how to describe the level of lies and cruelty that has been told in support of minute-by-minute television updates.

"What happened has a much bigger and deeper story behind it, from which I'm sure many women would feel identified. I had relationships with men whose words I believed in, that they were separate and there was no conflict.

"I feel deja vu in this situation, where I'm paying back with my reputation for issues that are personal to any woman.

"This reputation shows my experience and, above all, the credibility I give to a man who is silent, letting the wolves eat me. It seems more credible to society, knowing how they handle themselves, for me to be the bad guy who cheats, and now deceived person."

"It's also easier for a woman to hit me," Suarez added. "The cost of supporting the image of a happy family is paid by me, not someone who slips. At that price, everyone is rich.

"I repeat my silence is to maintain my family ties, which has always been my priority. Today I don't want to be silent anymore, for playing against me. I know there are many women who have gone through this and we have been judged from the outside.

"Thank you to everyone who has shown support for me, those who understand what I went through and what I endured.

"I am a woman who is no longer afraid to assert my right to a life free from prejudice."
