JAKARTA - Tottenham Hotspur lost 0-1 to Vitesse Arnhem as Rennes took all three points over Mura in a series of matches continued in Group G of the Conference League which took place early Friday.

Tottenham could not do much and had to go home empty-handed from the Netherlands, hoping to get some revenge when they changed to host Vitesse in London in two weeks.

In another match that took place simultaneously at the Ljudski vrt Stadium, Slovenia, Rennes picked up a 2-1 victory over the host Mura.

Sehrou Guirassy opened Rennes' advantage through the penalty spot in the 17th minute which Mura immediately replied through Mitja Lotric three minutes later.

Four minutes before halftime Gaetan Laborde restored Rennes' advantage by taking advantage of Baptiste Santamaria's shot.

The score of 2-1 was maintained by Rennes until the whistle sounded.

The results above make Rennes pushed to the top of the standings with a collection of seven points followed by Vitesse who rose to second place with six points.

Meanwhile, Tottenham slipped to third with four points, while Mura, who is still without points, has not moved from the bottom position, according to the official UEFA website.
