The Equator Themed Indonesian National Team Away Jersey Released

JAKARTA - The away jersey for the Indonesian national team was released at the official Mills store, Jakarta, Monday, July 27. PSSI appreciates the equatorial jersey produced by the national manufacturer PT Mitra Kreasi Garment.

PSSI Chairman Mochamad Iriawan said that the latest design was proud.

"This jersey is very Indonesian. White symbolizes purity, green in the middle represents Indonesian fertility. Then there is a pattern of the equator with the Indonesian archipelago from Sumatra to Papua which can be clearly seen when playing at night," said Iriawan, launching Antara.

According to the retired police officer with the final rank of Commissioner General, the design of the national team's away outfit cannot be separated from PSSI's request to Mills to create the latest innovations that are full of Indonesians.

PSSI wants, through the jersey that the national team will wear at these international championships, domestic products can be widely recognized by the world.

"It's time for domestic products to be widely recognized both in Indonesia and abroad. We cannot lose to foreign products. Moreover, next year Indonesia will host the U-20 World Cup. Jersey made by the nation's children must be able to compete with international brands, "said the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.

CEO Mills Tjia Kong Hou also expressed his pride in being able to make the official uniform for the Indonesian national team. Tjia also hopes that their clothes can motivate the national team to excel.

"We are proud, it cannot be expressed in words. We try to give the best for the Garuda team and show that the work of the nation's children can compete in the international arena. Hopefully this jersey will bring positive things for the Indonesian national team, "said Tjia.

The launch of the away jersey for the Indonesian national team today follows the home jersey which was introduced in April. If the home jersey is dominated by red, the away jersey for the national team is white with green in the middle.

Inside the green display are motifs of the Indonesian archipelago from Sabang to Merauke, decorated with white lines depicting the equator. The Indonesian archipelago motif will appear to light up at night.

Do not forget, just like the cage clothes, the Garuda Pancasila symbol is on the left side of the chest. Opposite the Garuda image is the Mills brand logo.

Mills has established a two-year collaboration with PSSI to provide for the needs of the Indonesian national team at all age groups including the women's national team since February 2020.

Mills also supports PSSI activities by providing equipment for coach courses, referees and provincial association activities.

The Indonesian national team uniforms are also sold to the public at a price range of Rp. 389 thousand to Rp. 789 thousand.
