JAKARTA - West Java lifter Susi Susanti broke the Asian record for dead lift after conquering a total of 197.5 kg in the women's 52 kg weightlifting class at the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) on Monday.

"This record-breaking is also Susi's second gold for West Java from PON," said West Java weightlifting coach Usdi Permana in Jayapura, as reported by Antara.
