Persib Coach Evaluates Squad, Looks For A Solution To Replace Nick Kuipers Who Has Accumulated A Yellow Card

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung coach Robert Rene Alberts admitted that his team had worked hard even though they had not been able to score against Tira Persikabo. Now, it's time for Maung Bandung to look at the match against PSM Makassar next Saturday.

Persib were held to a draw with Persikabo with a score of 0-0 in the fifth week of the 2021 Liga 1 which took place at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi, Monday night.

"The kids have tried to win the game, but haven't been able to score goals," said Robert, during a virtual press conference on Monday night, reported by Antara.

In fact, the Dutch coach has tried to strategize in various positions, but still can't score.

To prepare for the sixth week match against PSM Makassar, Saturday, October 2, Robert will conduct an evaluation, including substitute Nick Kuipers.

It is known, Kuipers got a yellow card in the match against Persikabo which made him unable to strengthen the Blue Prince in the match against Ramang Troops due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

What is clear, the Dutch coach will prepare his team optimally, both in the back, middle and front lines.

Meanwhile, Persib Captain Supardi Nasir emphasized that the players had worked hard, but the results were not encouraging.

Supardi said the players will work even harder in the next match, with more efforts to score goals.

"I tell my friends that we can do better than today," concluded the senior defender.
