JAKARTA - Aston Villa manager Dean Smith says winger Leon Bailey will be out for up to three weeks with a thigh injury he picked up after scoring in last weekend's 3-0 Premier League win against Everton.
The Jamaica international joined Villa from Bayer Leverkusen in August for a fee of £25 million. He is aiming to return to action against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 16 October.
Dean Smith has confirmed that Leon Bailey will be sidelined with a thigh strain until after the October international break.

"Leon has an injury that will likely keep him out until after the international break," Smith told reporters.
"We expect him to play in the game against Wolves, but we need to assess more closely and see how he develops in the next 10 days or so," added Smith.
Midfielder Morgan Sanson will be out for a month after sustaining a hamstring injury in the League Cup penalty shoot-out defeat to Chelsea.
Smith's side travel to Manchester United on Saturday before taking on Tottenham Hotspur on October 3.
